Madaline Haywood – Instructor

Madaline Haywood, the CEO of 1st Lady Maddy B’s Soul Line Dance Xperience, has been a passionate member of the line dancing community for over 35 years. Her journey began by learning from line dance legends such as Charlie Green, Casper, and Big Mucci.

Madaline’s expertise and enthusiasm for line dancing have led her to share her craft with a wide range of organizations, including the Girl Scouts of America, AARP, Comcast, and various sororities. She has also had the honor of teaching line dance classes at prestigious institutions like the University of Chicago, Chicago State University, Governors State University, and Malcolm X Community College.

One of Madaline’s proudest achievements is her work with the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she has used the power of line dancing to uplift and engage the veteran community.

As a dedicated and energetic instructor, Madaline doesn’t just teach line dance classes – she creates a unique “line dance Xperience” that caters to a diverse audience, from ages 8 to 80. Her infectious passion and commitment to the art form have made her a beloved figure in the line dancing community.
